Hello one and all!
Firstly a massive thank you from the depths of us all for buying the record. We’ve been hearing sales and charts all week from the labels around the world: number 1 in Ireland; number two in the UK; number 7 in Australia to name a few! We care little about chart positions usually but I have to admit feeling very proud this record has initially done as well as it has. It is a great privilege to do what we do and be rewarded for it by the love and success we’ve had around the world over the last few years. This album means everything to us (as every album rightly should) and we are delighted you have taken to it.
Naturally we are most excited to get out to play these songs live around the world. The UK and Ireland tour starting February next year has now been announced and we’re chomping at the bit to get started. Details of the dates around the rest of the world will follow soon. We hope to get to as many countries as possible, to strange and wonderful places we have been before and some we have not.
Before next year we will be in the States, a lot of Europe and Oz doing a lot of press and some one off shows.
You will be the first to know of any new developments about the tours. I’m going to post something rambling and overlong in the next week so feel free to bate your breath. Or be afraid, whichever happens more readily.
Before I go right now though I’d like to say a massive thanks to all who were involved in our four gigs in two days last weekend around the UK and Ireland. It was a whole heap of fun. The trousers I bought for it in a charity shop in Dublin held up great too. Thank you to all the people who attended. Also a big thanks to all those who helped put the shows together and insured they ran so smoothly (it would have been a royal fuck up without yis): Our amazing road crew; all at Polydor and Fiction; all at PurplePR and FrictionPR; all at q Prime. Thanks too to the pilot and crew of the wee plane we were on. That thing looked like it was held together with sticky tape, so a big thanks for getting us all there in one piece. It was lovely to meet the competition winners and the journalists that joined us on the trip. We hope you are fit and well.
As I say I'll post again soon. Take care and lots of love to all.

And to Gary, again, thank you for the lovely music in your new album, I'm loving every song on it, and if you or one of those spies from the record company is reading this forum....please, please, please...try do some concerts in the United States? Preferably including Florida? I'd be first in line for the tickets....and then again, repeat it all again next year... _________________ I'd spend forever with you...but damn, you're so hard to find...
