Launched their EP last week and Duke Special came down and played a song
he wrote for them
called 'here come the lowly knights'.

Haha, I got a MySpace comment from the Lowly Knights saying something like "You're far away from Belfast, how have you heard about the Knights??"
And I've ordered the EP, quite excited to hear it. _________________ well in case you never noticed the path you never chose has chosen you

The other day somebody asked why I saved the little note that was sent with my EP...I then played her the EP, sent her to their MySpace, she was smitten, and she'd better be placing an order soon, darn it! I told her I wouldn't burn it for her, and that she might well get her own lovely note from a 'lovely knight' as a good karma reward for not ripping off their music! _________________ http://www.ravelry.com

I have kept everything I have to do with the LKs, silly things like the little heart badges they wore for my fundraiser for the ward Rossy was in, the specially made Christmas card with their Christmas picture on the front, little postits... I love their branding. They have a very unique package and the best thing is...it's all genuine. There is not one member of that band with a bad bone in their body. That's what comes across most me thinks. _________________ I got myself a plan...

yes, I have my EP saved with all of its packaging and post-it in my jewelry box. They are brilliant, I am so happy to be able to support them from all the way over here (same longitude as Jess ). And Sian--it is so fun knowing that you are connected with them, as it makes them just that much more real. Such genuine folks _________________ "This is not the sound of a new man or crispy realization / It's the sound of the unlocking and the lift away / Your love will be / Safe with me"

I thought they were great when they supported Snow Patrol in Belfast. I shall definately be picking up their EP. I was disappointed though that when they were giving a few out during the show that I didn't manage to get one despite being at the front but for giving such a good performance I'll forgive them _________________

Just received this update on facebook, All in the Belfast area should go and enjoy for me! I wish I could simply hop on over.... but alas, such is life!
Hear ye good people!
Get yourselves down to the Festival Marquee in Custom House Square this Friday, May 8th. It is a night of music specially curated by Mr. Gary Lightbody. The wonderful Sons & Daughters will be playing with support from the twisted, tortured, and terrific Frightened Rabbit and...welp, us. The evening will end with some DJing from Lightbody + Sir Tom Simpson of Snow Patrol & Richard Colburn of Belle & Sebastian. It should be a grand evening.
Tickets are £8. Get them at cqaf.com
Doors are at 8pm. We are on first so get down in good time! _________________ "This is not the sound of a new man or crispy realization / It's the sound of the unlocking and the lift away / Your love will be / Safe with me"

They were fanflippingtastic.
LOVED the two new songs - 'Hallow' and 'I just cant get through to you'.
The latter I have heard in dribs and drabs as Neil's been writing it. (Sometimes overhearing him sing something in the shower then hearing it onstage is a bit bizarre!! )
It was so lovely to hear the crowd go a bit mad for them! Brilliant.
And it was great to see Kellie back after her short hiatus away from the choir, made the Aiken's absence less noticable. _________________ I got myself a plan...
